Josh Micallef
Josh founded Urban Tree Services to give Wellington honest, genuinely qualified tree care. He holds a Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF Level V) — one of the highest attainable qualifications in the field — earned through TAFE NSW, and brings more than a decade of hands-on experience across Wellington’s arboriculture industry.
That background spans everything from consulting and tree assessments to hands-on climbing, removals and team management — so whether you need advice on saving a tree or a complex removal on a tight hillside section, you’re dealing with someone who has genuinely done it all.
Josh personally attends quotes and stays active in the industry, keeping current with the latest techniques and equipment. He also quietly runs free cat rescues around the region — because being a good local business is about more than just the invoice.
